Welllll ok, the hi-speed connection is still in the works - didn't realize I need a co-signer with a permanent Taiwan residency card. So that'll be Monday provided the world doesn't stop turning over the weekend. Though I must admit it feels that way right now - I want that connection so bad!!

Will be calling, have been frantic the past week becaaaause...

I was offered a new contract with my employer! Was so nervous, and it all turned out super except... While waiting I did some research on my own and with Eva, poking around different schools in this area, and have come to the conclusion that the contact I wanted to renew so badly should actually be turned down. Because I have found at least two schools that I'd really love to work for, both of which will have openings after my current contract expires. Their books are better and I have reason to believe their curricula are, too. I'm psyched and have been whipping up resumes and cover letters for these two schools, plus have talked to several small schools. There are so many, it's nearly impossible to talk to everyone, but I'm feeling so good about this decision. I still have a lot to learn and more experience to gain before moving on, and this will give me a great opportunity to grow as a teacher. Yeah, can you tell I'm excited?!
